The Cause

St. Elizabeth in Guerneville was built by immigrants at the turn of the century. St. Catherine of Siena in Monte Rio was built by The Bohemians. St. Colman in Cazadero was built mid 20th century.

St. Colman and St. Elizabeth need replacement/repair of their roofs and foundations.

The story of St. Catherine of Siena is written by Dan Demers and available on the parish websitehttps://rrchurches.com/posts/the-church-the-bohemians-built/

Our current goal is to raise money to repair/replace roofs and foundations at St. Colman in Cazadero and St. Elizabeth in Guerneville.

The 3 churches are organized as St. Elizabeth parish; St. Colman and St. Catherine of Siena are designated as mission churches. The annual MacKenzie Classic proceeds are used to repair the churches, including the outdoor churches at St. Colman and St. Elizabeth.

Although our congregations are small, they are mighty in faith and full of joy! Just recently we celebrated First Communion.

Please visit the church website at www.rrchurches.com to learn more about our parish.

Thank you for supporting our fund raising efforts!
